The Piper Turbo Arrow.

Piper Aircraft is known for its comprehensive set of training aircraft and unmatched basic performance for the new to novice pilot.
The Piper Arrow is considered the advanced training aircraft of the Piper training plan. From 1977 to 1992, Piper Aircraft produced
a turbocharged Arrow known as the Piper Turbo Arrow that sought to not only serve the student consumer market but also the
general aviation consumer.

The Piper Turbo Arrow was turbocharged early on, providing enhanced performance and better power at altitude.
The Turbo Arrow is praised as one of the smoothest riding single engine aircraft on the market, equipped with a Continental
TSIO-360 engine.

In fact, the Turbo Arrow has been compared to another very powerful plane, the Mooney 201.
The Turbo Arrow is praised for better handling features than most turbocharged aircraft in this class, along with easier takeoff and
landing than the Mooney brand.

These features make this aircraft an ideal starter for a novice pilot wanting to experience turbocharged power for the first time.
The Arrow provides an easy flying experience that packs a lot of power and generous speed. The Arrow also maintains power
better than the Cessna and can be used for either IFR or VFR training.

For the experienced pilot, the Arrow Turbo is an alternative to the faster Cessnas and more expensive Mooney’s on the market.

The Piper Arrow is the only complex trainer available for purchase direct from an OEM.
The Arrow offers an ideal classroom in the sky for complex, single engine training at a price that
is manageable for the smallest of flight schools.  Thousands are in service around the world,
so your choice of the Piper Arrow for your training needs is a wise one.

Piper Arrow Aircraft

A single-engine, fixed wing light aircraft, the 4-seater Piper Arrow is the most powerful member of the Piper Cherokee range.
Distinguished by its retractable undercarriage (rare in light aircraft) the Piper Arrow has been in production since 1967.
Popular in training schools, it is often the first choice of personal aircraft for the graduate pilot.

The Piper Arrow Aircraft began life as a 180hp, rectangular winged model (the PA28-180) With a 50 gallon fuel capacity, it replaced
the lower powered PA-150 and 160 aircraft. In 1968 the engine compartment was modified and a third window added (the Piper
Arrow 2) In 1971 the Lycoming engine was upgraded to 200hp, creating the PA-28R-200. This aircraft had a maximum speed of
123knots.

In 1976 the Piper Arrow PA 28R-201 aircraft was developed, with the constant-chord (rectangular) wings becoming semi-tapered
as seen on other Piper aircraft. The tail was also lengthened, and the fuel capacity increased. Further restyling took place in 1979 to create the familiar T-shaped tail. This model, the PA 28RT-201, or Piper Arrow 4, is - apart from minor modifications - the craft we see today.

Piper became bankrupt in 1991; however, the enduring legacy of its craft ensured it was reformed as New Piper Aircraft in 1995.
The Newwas dropped from the name in 2006. Today, the Piper Arrow Personal Aircraft, with its large electronic control panel
and optional glass cockpit, is renowned for its stability, reliability and ease of use  traits it first displayed over 40 years ago.

What is the cruise speed of the Piper Arrow Propeller Plane?

The Piper Arrow has a Long Range Cruise (LRC) speed of 137 knots.
This Arrow can fly as far as {max_range} while traveling at this speed.
